Since the founding, the league has more than once organized demonstrations and protests in the United States to fight for legitimate rights of artists, and organized and united artists in New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles to jointly appeal to the Supreme Court of the United States, striving to add the clause of “strictly prohibit the arrest of artists” to the First Amendment of the Federal Constitution of the United States. The league has won the legitimate interest of all artists in the United States having the freedom of creation in the open air.
